Welcome to my tiny den on the internet <3

I'm a tufter from Puerto Rico 🇵🇷I've been interested in tufting for years but finally got the push to start thanks to 39daph and my friends on December 2025.My goal with this portfolio is to have a space where I can extensively write down the materials and process of each rug in case anyone is ever curious and for me to look back on in the future :)Thanks for the continuous support <3P.S. the mascot's name is Rugsy!

I don't have an exact sizing for any of these rugs but they were all tufted in a 30 x 30 inch frame. These rugs were gifts for my friends as I was just starting my tufting journey. As you can see, with the MGS one I had completely forgotten to mirror it and errors here and there on the rest :')With these rugs I mainly practiced spacing between colors and density while tufting and at this point I was too scared to properly carve so I stuck to just shaving the edges and cutting between the colors with scissors 😭This whole journey is possible all thanks to them (: Thank you for always believing and supporting me through everything <3

Completion dates:

These two were for my friend's sisters! These were the first rugs I had practiced carving on. It was very light because I was too scared to cut too deep into the fabric or leaving a bald spot. Buuuut, I was very proud of the clean backing!

  • Ninja Hello kitty - 1/7/26

  • Minecraft Sheep - 1/9/26

My friend is a HUGE Twice fan and his bias is Jeongyeon so I thought a rug of her lovely would be a great gift! With this rug I decided to go for it with carving and was very pleased with the results! I struggle a lot with circles so I was very happy how the blushes turned out. I thought she turned out very cute and I'm looking forward to making more K-pop mascots in the future.

FIRST COMMISSION ALERT!!!
This was a collaboration with my friend, @brat.rat.art, to make a cursed Kirby for our friend since he's scarily good at drawing feet and she loves all things Kirby.
I made a very sloppy photoshop of it with shoes on because I wanted it to have detachable shoes. This was done by using magnets but in hindsight it would have been better if it was done with velcro. The carving on this one is not the best but it's part of the charm.Since this commission was for a dear friend I did not mind being payed in Soju :3

Completion date - 1/18/26

Materials:
All Things Effy - Rust
Premier Yarns - Solid Cream
Red Heart Yarn in the following colors:

  • Black

  • Soft White

  • Raspberry

  • Real Teal

  • Buff

I thought this one had turned out pretty cute and I learned to not get too close to the edges of the tufting frame. One of the feet and some edges, the yarn is very loose which is a result of the tension of the fabric in those areas not being tight.Commissioner was the one that helped me in getting the starting tufting kit so they only payed for shipping on this piece :3

Materials - All Things Effy Acrylic & Cotton Blend Yarn in the following colors:

  • Dark gray

  • Hot white

  • Mauve

  • Lavender

First time fully working with All Things Effy yarns and I LOVE how soft it feels. It was also the first time that I do a pixel rug and although the carving process took long and was very repetitive, somewhere along the way it turned therapeutic.I believe this is my best piece so far when it comes to carving and I'm very proud of it :3Commissioner had helped me in getting a ton of materials for future projects like, glue, tufting fabric, etc, so I only charged $50.

Lesbian Pride Flag

Materials - All Things Effy Acrylic and Cotton Blend and Knit Picks in the following colors:

  • Dark Orange

  • Pumpkin

  • Painted Hills

  • Hot White

  • Lady Slipper

  • Bougainvillea

  • Plum

I was too locked in on this one that I barely have any progress pictures :(A friend commissioned me to make her a lesbian pride flag! She said the sunset colors pride flag was her favorite and I did my best to color match it perfectly :3With this project I learned how combining different types of yarn can result in different textures and how they won't all be willing to get shaved. This is also the first rug I add hooks on the back in case they wanted to hang it on the wall and glued some covers for it in case they wanted to display it on the floor and won't cause any damage :D

Completion date - 2/23/26

Materials - All Things Effy Cotton & Acrylic Blend Yarn & Red Heart in the following colors:

  • Dark Orange

  • Pumpkin

  • Chocolate Brown

  • Mellow Yellow

  • Black

  • Soft White

  • Light gray

  • Buff

Size: Approximately ± 52 x 43 in (132 x 109 cm)This is my first big rug commission!!I priced this commission at $110 not knowing that I would be spending $147.20 on materials alone. I know there are a bunch of cheaper alternatives out there but I wanted the soft texture that the cotton acrylic blend from All Things Effy provides ;A;For reference this rug has 3 pumpkins, 1 mellow yellow, 2 chocolate browns, and 4 dark oranges.

Completion date - 4/16/26

Materials - Caron Gold & All Things Effy Cotton & Acrylic Blend Yarn in the following colors:

  • Hot White

  • Dark Gray

  • Pastel Moss

  • Moss Green

  • Chocolate Brown

Size: Approximately ± 49 x 60 in (124 x 152 cm)Second big rug commission!! :DI was really excited because this is my first (animated) human rug!! My friend's favorite anime is Frieren and I was so honored that she trusted me to commission a piece <3We decided on the colors together through DMs and this time, I ordered more than enough yarn so I could avoid the nightmares that happened with Vulpix. I'm just really happy with this piece c:This was also the first time I leave the outline for last and have learned that I very much hate doing that and it won't be happening again. And that Caron's simply soft colors have a night texture but, at least for me, are a nightmare to carve. The commission price was $120 and the total cost of materials was $166.31 T-T.

Completion date - 5/3/26

  • Navy

  • Denim

  • White

  • Gold

  • Black

  • Light Gray

  • Charcoal

  • Buff

Size: Approximately ± 24 1/2 x 22 in (62 x 55 cm)Friends and I were doing an Overwatch cosplay group for Super Otaku Con and I just wanted to make something fun for everyone! My friend, Brat.Rat.Art, drew him for me :DI still have to learn proper spacing between stitches but this time I slowed my gun down to the 1000s instead of my usual 4000ish speed and I love how cleaner the stitches are. I know it's possible to get the same result at higher speeds but I'm just not there yet :)

Completion date - 5/28/26

The materials for these rugs have all been used in previous projects but if you're curious for any color in specific, don't be afraid to shoot a DM :D

I was so excited to finally be making keyboard rugs and they were quite the learning experience.I had done some research and had initially settled on making them 20 x 8 inches (50 x 20 cm).In my head, the sizing seemed okay but as soon as I was done tufting all the Chiikawa ones, I realized they were too big for my liking. After more research, I decided to make them 17 x 6 in (44 x 16 cm) and then tried the new sizing out with the Snorlax and Glep rugs! I'm really happy with the new size and rounded corners :)However, I did make the Glep one too dense like I had seen others do online and it honestly felt like I was carving a brick but it looks nice!
